This is from an ongoing photographic series entitled “625” to mark the date of the start of the Korean War, leading to the division of the Koreas. The images are self portraits, in each I am holding an object that has been divided in half, symbolizing the contradiction and reconciliation of my own identity as a person from a divided people.
