This happens at strategic moments when movements become more widespread and favored. They\u2019re trying to quell mass mobilization of the people.
It also frequently happens during election years to suppress the masses and the very palpable discontent of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So two things to keep in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One. We are making a difference. We are making an impact. All of our noises, posts, screams, tears, and protests are working. We are making ripples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two. Remind yourself that this is an age-old tactic that is being employed so that you do not grow discouraged, so that you do not lose hope, so that you do not lose focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are so many of us. There may be a line of them or even a wall, but we are the waves. They will actively try to break and separate us, but we the waves simply come back around and together again. So instead of them surrounding us, we surround and overtake them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
