I’ve been witnessing eugenics arguments from people in their transphobia.

Arguments used to ban Ppl of the Global Majority from public spaces, schools, employment, and housing are being echoed in the arguments to ban trans people in sports, schools, healthcare, and more.

Just as white people use reductionist and oversimplified arguments of the vastness of People of the Global Majority to push white dominant culture, so too, cis people use ideas that come from a place of no understanding of the depth of what the trans experience actually is.

Dehumanization tactics that have been used against us because of our race, are also being used against us because of our gender variance.
And when we speak of intersecting identities, it is trans People of Color experiencing exponential harm.

Transphobia adds to anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, ableism, and anti-immigrant sentiment.

We are all connected.
We are interdependent.

No one is free until everyone is free.

White cis hetero patriarchal colonial culture does not want us to recognize our interdependence.

And that is all the more reason for us to build, organize, and connect.
