If you’ve seen any news about north Korea lately, you’ve probably heard that north Korea is “threatening” south Korea with missiles and drones.
But in fact, it is the U.S. and a U.S.-inspired south Korea that are instigating north Korean defenses.
North Korea does not act without being provoked.
Korea is technically still at war after a peace treaty that never came following a Korean War armistice. A 1953 armistice that was hastily imposed by the U.S. and China. A Korea that was divided by the U.S. and the USSR in 1945.
Note the common denominator here. The U.S.
It is the U.S. that pushed the division of Korea into north and south in the first place, and then imposed a botched truce. That’s right, it’s the U.S., not north Korea.
So of course, the U.S. has to lie to cover all of that up. The U.S. gov and media have been lying to you.
In order to keep its U.S. military occupying Korea, to justify the cost, to get people to forget that the U.S. literally created north Korea and thus birthed its own enemy, to slur over its culpability in escalating the conflict, of course, of course the U.S. has to lie.
The U.S. lies to its people about its roles in countries/territories everywhere.
If the U.S. didn’t lie, people would understand, even more, its violent lead in global wars, destitution, genocide, and colonization.
So I’m doing a series on the lies the U.S. tells us.
You ready?
