A reminder that the Gregorian calendar that much of the world uses today was largely implemented to leverage white religious supremacy. It is wildly inaccurate and the dates themselves are arbitrary, manufactured, and fallible.

January 1 New Year’s Day was contrived and forced upon others by people abusing power. Just like the many other creations of oppressors.

There are so many calendars in the universe that make so much more sense, including your own.

Your New Year starts when you are ready.

You decide your own beginnings.
You create your own meaningfulness.
Start your resolutions when YOU are ready.

It is your New Year when you make it your own. Let’s reclaim our time.
