Hi. Hello. Stop bullying people for their decision to vote or not vote.
On my page, yes this one you are on as a guest, I block bullies.
Everyone in my circles wants to stop the genocides. Genuinely. That doesn’t mean we are all doing the same thing.
Some are choosing to vote to express their grief and rage and others are choosing not to vote to express theirs.
Some people are voting to place pressure on the candidates.
Some people are not voting because the system itself is a setup, because candidates are complicit or have histories of oppressive policies and decisions.
Some people are voting because even outside of the presidential election there are hundreds of seats up for election and local races and ballot measures.
We the People are all looking to end the genocides, time is of the essence in an unprecedented election, as we are all unlearning systemic oppression, while Empire has already pitted us against each other, while we are trying to strategize for long-term liberation, bullying us is not growing us.
Yes, have conversations, and do the hard work of struggling and learning together, but bullying, is not accessible to get all of us where we all need to be.
Remember that we are not yet there. We are all on the way.
Some of us have been doing this for decades.
Some are just joining.
Some still don’t have access.
This path is hard. It is the most challenging path possible. But it is the most necessary path. We will struggle, but we must struggle together. Liberation means all of us, together. Let’s get there together.
