Can you imagine how much more beautiful, amazing, and creative the sciences, whether physics, biology, chemistry, astrophysics, and also maths, technology, economics, anthropology, archaeology, psychology, health sciences, and all of that would be, and would have been if white supremacy dominant culture had not taken over?
Our science is the way we as humans understand and interpret it. Science has human subjectivity. And our interpretation and understanding have historically been influenced by white dominant culture.
We have some evidence of culture and science before colonization that current white-dominant culture science cannot even begin to interpret or understand.
White dominant culture limits thinking, creativity, and possibility.
We can reclaim what was stolen, erased, ignored, and suppressed from Black, Indigenous, People of Color. I cannot wait for Black, Indigenous, People of Color thinking to expand everything again and make everything possible again.
