Not long ago in the U.S., arbitrary gender binary assignments dictated that women wearing pants or men with any kind of makeup were deviants.

Even conservatives who claim to objectively know the definition of gender, change their gender definitions ALL THE TIME.

According to their previous definitions, almost all present-day women and men would be arrested and not be allowed around children.

Their definition isn’t as solid as they want it to be.

The Right has always manipulated the gender binary to manipulate people and power.

The real threat to the Right isn’t an attack on “family values,” but that transness disintegrates their very foundation of power. A power that does not even have a definite foundation in the first place.

Take away the noise, the distractions, and their fear is revealed.

My fellow trans, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, gender nonbinary, gender benders, and gender outsiders, the best part of this is that we continue to be ourselves.

We have always been here.

They have not.

Our very existence is resistance.
